Welcome to Whispers at Home! We know all the conversations that take place in our homes. And sometimes our home also speaks to us in a sense. So this blog will be all about those conversations.
Now I don’t want this to be just another mom blog! I want to be a help to you and give you ideas, tips, and even advice about the things that I find or have experience with. I will be talking all things mom, home, budgets, education and anything else that might be appropriate. I also want you to leave comments and email me with any questions or topics you’d like for me to cover.
A little about me…
I have been happily married to Brian for the past 18 years. We have 3 wonderful daughters that I will probably mention because this is a blog about mom stuff. They are Peyton (12), Piper (9), and Madison (4); and they are my joy everyday.
I do a little bit of everything, lol. My background is in education. I have a M.Ed. in elementary education and taught nearly 13 years in 1st-6th grades (never in Kindergarten but I did teach preschool for 2.5 years while I completed my B.S.). I love teaching and love first grade, so I’m perfectly happy right where I am. I also have a tutoring business that I just started this summer and will be expanding virtually.
Along with teaching and tutoring; I am now building 2 new blogs, this one and another one focusing on Disney and family travel. I also have some other projects that I am working on, but I will share those as they are ready. I hope you come back to visit and I look forward to connecting with so many moms out there!
